The Location

The Park is located between Findhorn and Kinloss villages, which are roughly a mile each way – both villages have small convenience stores and pubs and cafes serving food. The town of Forres is 4 miles away and is well serviced by trains and buses, and local shops and amenities – primary schools including a Steiner School, a sports centre, supermarkets, hotels, chemists, churches, a park.

Elgin to the west and Nairn to the east are larger towns (Elgin is classed as a city as it has a cathedral) around 14 miles away.

Heading further west, Inverness airport is around 35-40minutes drive away, and Inverness around 45minutes drive away.

Heading further east, Aberdeen airport is around 1.5hours drive away, and Aberdeen around 1.45hours drive away.

Edinburgh and Glasgow are accessible by train and bus from Inverness, and via the A9 heading south are each just over four hours drive away.

There are sleeper trains and through day trains from both Inverness and Aberdeen through to London Euston and London Kings Cross respectively.

There are also primary schools in Kinloss and other surrounding villages. There are secondary schools in Forres, Elgin and Nairn as well as Gordonstoun close by near Duffus. Gordonstoun also has a prep school which takes students from 8years old.
